LeRemote – Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-29
LeRemote is an independent remote-control app for Platin SM450 / Bolia x Lemus and Lemus speakers, made by Flex Audio Martin Heie, Norway. Contact: [email protected].
The short version
LeRemote does not collect, store or share any personal data on our servers. We have no servers, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Everything the app remembers stays on your phone.
What the app does on your phone
- Speaker control: the app finds and talks to your speaker over your local Wi-Fi network. This traffic stays on your own network and is never sent to us.
- Settings stored on the phone: your app settings, EQ presets, input names, speaker colour, the speakers the app has found (name and local network address), room-correction results, and whether you are in the free trial or have bought the app. Deleting the app deletes all of this.
- Microphone (room correction only): when you start a room measurement, the app uses the microphone for up to one minute to measure the test sound from the speaker. The sound is analysed on the phone while it is recorded; no recording is saved and nothing is sent anywhere. Only the resulting frequency curve is kept on the phone. The microphone is never used at any other time.
- Local network permission (iPhone): needed to find the speaker on your Wi-Fi.
Purchases
The free trial and the purchase are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your name, payment details or account. The app only receives confirmation that the trial was started or the app was bought.
Feedback by email
If you choose "Send feedback", your own email app opens with a message to us. It includes the app version, your phone model and system version, and the speaker's firmware version, so we can help. Nothing is sent unless you press send yourself. We use your email only to answer you, and delete it when the matter is closed.
Children
The app is not aimed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, correct or delete. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at [email protected]. You can also complain to your data-protection authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
